0 hands on villain so far. His raise of me on the flop told me he had at least a jack here. Come the turn this looked like an easy check/fold but he also could have been pushing hard with a flush draw. Did I play this like a vag or good fold?

Check/folding sucks though. He could have been raising 8h9h type hands on the flop.

I don't like this much. If you bet and BB raises, he's got to have a Jack. If he has a 7, he hates this turn card and is calling down.

When you check, you are in effect saying you don't like the Jack and you invite the BB to bet his flush draw or pocket pair. So to keep the BB honest, bet the turn and fold to a raise.

tough spot, the reason why i think it's tough is BB could raise the flop with any Ax type hand & he may even bluff the dbl paired turn. So I'm not rly sure what the best play is here. Being an unknown i sort of want to SD against him, but I hate getting valueowned.

I might consider b/c then re-eval on river but that's prolly not rly good advice! [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

It's an easy call down then, right?

Cuz 50 hands later, that's what I had him for.
