200NL-6Max---Ok bluff?
I have $480 and Villian has $450. He is pretty loose and aggro(~30/~20) through a decent sample.
I button raise to $8 with AJs and he defends in the BB. Flop is T22r. I bet $13, he c/r to 30. I reraised to $80 and he calls. The turn is a King, he checks and I check. River is a 9. He checks and from timing tells/not betting the river, I know he doesnt have a 2. I bet $125(pot is $175). Thoughts? -Jason |

Expect to get looked up a decent amount of the time.... very villain/table dynamics -dependent IMO.

it would be hard for him to put you on a 2 in this spot after you check the turn, so i think he looks you up lite often. Just because we relize that our opponents hand looks weak, doesnt mean ours looks any stronger.

Re: 200NL-6Max---Ok bluff?
first of all if your going to pull this bluff i wouldnt ever 3bet this flop. it looks so bluffy. id just float his flop bet and bet the turn when checked to or raise his turn bet if i thought he was weak.
The problem with people bluffing hands like these is because you played it exactly like a bluff. This would be an excellent value bet on teh river with k anything though. |

Re: 200NL-6Max---Ok bluff?
don't 3bet the flop. you are bluffing in the most obvious bluff spot there is in poker.
try and bluff in other spots. against an aggro guy, i am not Cbetting this flop, i am gonna check behind and take it from there |
