To few saw it on TV so they lost sponsor/TV network and had noone willing to sponsor or show it on TV.

Re: What happened to the Professional Poker Tour?
Big shame, I watched the PPT and liked the format and the coverage. I thought it was very well done and with the rising popularity of Poker the potential audience will only grow.

Re: What happened to the Professional Poker Tour?
I liked the coverage, I really like seeing early tournament coverage. Could have been alot better, only the top 6 winning anything is a little extreme and making it a freeroll was kinda silly IMO.

Re: What happened to the Professional Poker Tour?
I loved this idea in theory. But the featured tables they chose in early-stage episodes were absolutely terrible. You would think from the show that mustachioed, overweight fifty-something nits were the superstars of the poker world. Also, the show would make bizarre editing decisions. Like the would show two hours of play going down from 18 to 9 players, but then skip coverage of the money bubble entirely, and not even tell you what happened before the final table. |
