Default 200NL AQ 3-bet OOP

alrighty well villain is 25/12-22WTSD over a smallish sample but has been pretty quiet and i actually thought and percieved him to be much tighter at the time than his stats indicate. from what i've seen he plays good post flop and rarely gets out of line. i almost didn't post his stats because they aren't that relevant in the sense that from what i saw he was a lot more solid than his stats indicate, but i guess it shows he's a bit passive and probably not 4-betting me pf with AA/KK and almost def not QQ.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

<font color="#C00000">Hero ($449.40)</font>
UTG ($119.70)
MP ($203.20)
<font color="#C00000">Button ($197)</font>
SB ($179.58)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $1.
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $8</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $26</font>, Button calls $18.

Flop: ($53) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $42</font>, Button calls $42.

Turn: ($137) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero calls $381.40 (All-In)(he has another $129 left)

i was done after the flop call but then a great card to represent rolled off and i started to think a bit...i thought his range for calling me pf was something like any pair AK/AQ and he folds AK on the flop. so i figured he folds the turn with all the pocket pairs he floated me with on the flop(even TT-QQ with a club or is that wishful thinking?), and unless he was getting extremely tricky with AA/KK or turned the nuts with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] i'm smart. right? thx.

sexy hand,

btw instead of pushing all in do you think its better to just bet what he has left ? sometimes seems like a stronger line and less of a bluff then over betting all in on the pot ? what u guys think.

wow, I often asked that Question myself, too. I think it depends on your table image if you have a really big stack and you don't want calls its best to shove I think. But if you want a call it might be best to bet just what he has left for psychological reasons, makes it look smaller.

well yea but this is 200nl on party, if this was any higher i would have a lot less doubt about this being good. anyway he called with 55 but i was pretty sure it was +ev to push even tho i felt like i got owned after the hand.

as for the bet his remaining stack or push thing, it prob matters if you do one or the other regularly, but i just always push if i'm going to move someone in.

lucky, what about raising more PF? I'm thinking of cero_z thread.... you are giving him good odds on PPs and SCs.

As played, with your read that he is nitty enough, I like it.
