Nah. The runs are far more difficult because there is no let up. The solos aren't bad, especially if you can save star power up.

Finished Hard. One was a bitch, but eventually made it through. Just star-powered the one solo section and the rest wasn't too hard once I got the fast strum rythm. Lou was a @#$*@#&$ bitch. I hate, Hate, HATE, battle mode. What a worthless part of the game.

I'm up to tier 7 now on expert and there's 2 songs I don't think I'll ever be able to do. Oh well. I know I couldn't do tier 8, and I've just for fun I tried the DragonForce song on the slowest possible practice mode and can barely do the entry solo....

the only songs I've 5* on expert were in the 2.80-2.85 range, not that song, but I'm prob near the bottom on them

Amazing how many songs have already been FCd. Looks like only One, Raining Blood, TTFAF, and FCPREMIX haven't been FCd yet. (The Way It Ends hasn't been FCd on the 360, but has on the PS2.)
