Hoping you nixed the pick 4?!?

Great ride by Gomez.
Chalk it up to "I should have known better."
-$144.00 in the pick-four.

Good news is I hit every pick-three so far today so I am still up a little.
My pal Eric the Eliminator talked me into singling TMB so I could get beat by Prado again. He is a damn good rider. Ah well.

That Gorella race was pretty sweet. J Lep = next superstar?

Oh so funny.

I play Bushfire. Then Cacique. And hit both.
Stoopid pick-4 bet. And the cheapest will pay is $440.

How about the Manhattan? Soft turf and and all Irish finish.

did anyone else nearly injur themselves laughing when ABC picked up the coverage and went to a live shot of Jeremy Schapp in a [censored] smock? or was that just me?

It seems unlikely Jazil will bounce back well from the Kentucky Derby. Give me a reason why he hits the ticket or I will throw him out.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well I did manage to come out ahead for the day, but I missed the Belmont by a long ways. I keyed Sunriver 1st and 2nd, proving my uncanny ability to pick 3rd place horses in big races.

Hope you all had fun...

Enjoyable day considering the Belmont didn't have any great intrigue. The Manhattan provided another spectacular finish in a classy turf race. I kept up my triple crown tradition of owning props and giving away half my profits on trifectas where I don't have the winner on a signle ticket. My arb turned out great as several horses dropped to under 13-1, the only horse that could have hurt me was Oh So Awesome if his odds were somehow wrong at post time...and he didn't come out of the gate!!

I finally broke my Triple Crown jinx this year with a Win-Show with Jazil.

I did end up cutting out some bets I was going to make deciding to hold off on any exotics. And just made some straight bets on Jazil, High Finance, Sunriver and the fade myself bet on Steppenwolfer (man does that never work).

I do feel better that BobandJohn would have probably been a part of all of my exotics, but when your looking at four tickets in your hand and two of them have a horse that finished in the money you feel like you might have missed out.
