I have become a big fan of Creemore Springs, and somehow picked up a taste for Stella Artois. We carry both of the beers I mentioned. I wanna try Le Fins Du Monde, but we haven't had it in stock for weeks. I browsed the Beer club to see what's out there, but I'm not really a connoisseur. Basically if we don't carry it, I don't know it.

I have friends from Ontario, and they say near closing, there is a MAD RUSH where they sometimes have to wait in line up to 45 mins for their purchase.... do i call BS?
(thunder bay, ON, said to be plenty of drunken injuns, if this may make a difference)

Not sure if this falls under "corporate decisions," but how do you guys decide what new beers to carry? Have you ever stopped carrying a particular brand? Do customers ever walk in and give reccomendations of new beers to carry, and if so, do you guys ever follow those recs?

[/ QUOTE ] Since we are owned by the big 3 breweries (Molson, Labatt, and Sleeman), I would assume that we only carry brands that are in some kind of demand. Beers get added/pulled all the time, in addition to packaging configurations (e.g. eliminate 6 packs, but can still buy a 12). We don't really have a process for following recommendations. I assume there is an official procedure, but I have not heard anything about it, and since it's more work for me I don't want to bring it up.
