Re: OOP with AQ
Raise more PF, I'd probably call the minraise and fold to a turn shove UI.

Re: OOP with AQ
This hero pushes preflop. Why would I raise more, and then what fold to a 3bet? no thanks. Play AQ out of position in a bloated pot? no thanks.
As played, gosh.. I dunno. We could be up against a very nut hand here like AJ. We have like 3 outs to CHOP. Against a made two pair like KQ, we have 3aces and 4jacks so 7 outs. Against most sets we have only 4. Most every type of draw he has eats our outs too. Our stack is sufficient to fold here. I really dont think he limps and minraises a hand like T9... Theres nothing he really seems to have that we have anything over 7 outs to, and he is likely pot odds going to have to call any push so we have no fold equity Folding leaves us 2400, 24bb, even when the blinds go up we have over 12bb which is enough to resteal, and certainly a good amount for pushing pre... I guess I fold as played. I would not get here tho. |

Re: OOP with AQ
Pushing pf for 35bb is terrible.
OP might have raised a little more, but 400 is fine. The flop minraise makes me puke, he could be doing this with a draw, a pair and a draw, or a naked K, and I don't think he's folding any of them if you shove. It might be weak tight, but I probably bet/fold here. Putting in another 600 and hoping for a chk/chk on the turn is ok, but unlikely to happen, so unless you hit the magic J on the turn you will be check/folding. |
