Default K-high against a 2+2\'er

Here's one that might be fun.

Online game, 8-handed or so.

The game isn't great, but there are a couple really weak spots, which is the reason I'm playing. (I'm sure it's the reason the other 5 players are playing also.)

The BB here is a fellow 2+2'er who I've played a fair amount against. I don't know if he knows me, but I'm sure he has a bunch of stats on me at least. I also don't know if he reads the micro-limit forum, but it would be cool if he did so we could talk about this hand.

We had not been involved in a pot yet this session. I had been at the table for maybe 20 hands and hadn't done anything retarded yet. (Mostly folding, stole the blinds without a fight once.)

So here we go:

Couple folds, I raise Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] from about the cutoff seat, everyone folds to the BB who calls.

Headsup to the flop, 4.5 little bets

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

He checks, I bet, he calls.

Turn (3 big bets): 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

He checks, I bet, he calls.

Riviera (5 big bets): J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

He bets, I raise....

Pure poker awesomeness?
Pure suckedness?
Meh?

Not bad; I did this vs. Deception5 once and the bastard almost timed out and called with his Ax. The problem is people don't play like they post.

How would you play a pair of 5's or 7's in villian's spot?

He can't checkraise me on the turn unless he has a real whopper, in which case I don't mind calling two bets because he's likely to spray on the river if I make a flush.

This is horrible logic, and unless hes a retard, you are like never getting more than 2bets from him on the river...

Who was the 2p2'r, and what stakes is this?

What limit is this? 5/10?

River raise seems fine. I don't really like his river bet with Ax though and that seems what his hand is the way it went down. I would check it again if I were him.

What's so horrible about it?

You don't think he'd go 3-bets on the river with a set because he's afraid I back-doored a flush?

What one-pair hands do you think he's going to checkraise on the turn? My point was that even if he has an Ace he's rarely going to checkraise the turn with it.

Yes, 5/10.

Planning to call if I bet?
