8 outs. Do I need 5 to 1?
My first inclination was I was getting nowhere near 5 to 1 But with two all-in there's a good chance I end the betting with a call giving me two shots at making my straight.

Re: 8 outs. Do I need 5 to 1?
Since the betting would be over and you get to see both cards for free, you need about 2.5 to 1. You still aren't getting right odds, and even if you hit the straight someone may get a flush. I fold.

Fold preflop. Seriously... fold preflop. No, really.
Else, fold flop. |

I'm OK with the limp, but with a raise and a limp-reraise how can you call preflop?
And the way you play it you have to fold - even if hit you could lose to a flush or a boat since UTG has AA |

I really don't mind the preflop call, because it's such a small reraise, and it's really easy to outplay someone when you know they have a big pair.

Those times being when you don't have to call a big raise and a re-raise. The limp is OK, but after the raises you simply can't continue profitably. |

I edited it, I meant reraise [/ QUOTE ] HE HADN'T EVEN CALLED THE ORIGINAL RAISE YET. Read the HH again. He called both raises cold. Of course if he had already put in 300 calling the extra 190 would be automatic, but that's not what happened. |
