Matasow on Kathy Griffin D-List show

I really expected much more of a horror-show from the early reports, but I watched it last night and think Mike did fine, and came off more as slightly weird but endearing than an a-hole, which is really more what he's like in real life.

I've been a fan of Kathy's show since episode one, and I thought the chemistry between them was good and Mike did a fine job. Even if he was a little rough around the edges, he seemed sweet.

Also, obviously the whole thing is just a gimmick/stunt. Mike had a gf the entire time, Rich Belsky isn't a paparazzi, and that's show business.

Maybe KG had him on because he was a jailbird. Her brother was (before he died). And she likes doing shows for prisoners...

That seems to be a theme in her show, along with doing shows GLBT.
