i was actually in a similar situation earlier today and stacked off w/ what ended up being the worst hand. something my roommate pointed out to me is that if im planning on stacking the hand anyways, i shouldn't b/3b the flop since cuz its a limped pot, if he continues, his range is extremely polarized. so like, instead of b/3b to just flat call his raise, it makes it less of a mistake to stack off since you dont have that extra information you gain from 3betting.

just think of it like this ... when u b/3b in limped pot, u are folding out all but the strongest hands, but by not allowing him to get away from a 2nd best hand and thus not revealing the true strength of your hand, it gives him the chance to play back at u w/ worse. this is of course, only if u r planning on stacking anyways, it just makes it less of a mistake.
