small PP HU whats my line?
Villain here is 40/7/1.2 after 35 hands. Should I be playing this differently?

Re: small PP HU whats my line?
meh...I suck at blind V blind wars. I would play this the same i think. I don't think you are getting any value or are getting a better hand to fold by betting the river.

Re: small PP HU whats my line?
looks fine, every hand cept J7 or 97 got there, couldn't imagine ne one bluffing on the river here with either of those hands. Oh forgot bout 22/33 but i think most ppl who r calling down here with those r more likely to see a free SD rather than bet.

Re: small PP HU whats my line?
I probably would've check/folded the turn. Especially if I'd shown him before that I'll check/raise turns like that.
One other line to consider in a BvB situation like this & against an aggressive opponent is to just check/call all the way to showdown. Give him the chance to bluff/valuebluff K high or whatever the whole way. In the most general terms, I hate folding any pair when it's blind vs. blind & my opponent isn't insanely passive (this hand is the exception as we're behind any made hand he could have & hold so little chance of improving if behind). |

I'm okay with this line. I usually c/f the turn, though.

Meh, without a diamond I c/f turn every time. I'd take your line in position quite a bit. As played on river depending on reads fold > raise > call IMO. |
