Re: Flopped flush gets tricky ...
[ QUOTE ]
Anyone here like raising the flop? I'd like to put some pressure against someone drawing with a naked Ace. [/ QUOTE ] Quite agree. Plus lots of turn cards could kill action. Raise flop. |

Re: Flopped flush gets tricky ...
Thanks for the replies so far - does anyone have pokerstove?
If so, could you run my equity if I'm up against a set and a naked A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. The reason this hand got so difficult for me was that there were two opponents and they were both taking crazy lines! |

Re: Flopped flush gets tricky ... RESULTS
Well, because people like results.
I painfully folded. Masterdon was playing next to me and said I should have called - we debated about it for a while, and I still couldn't come around to what I thought the best play was. But, like others have said, I only needed to win 1/5 times ... and made a pretty bad laydown. (the whole hand was bad). But they were playing it so strangely! I first thought BB had the A high, then I thought SB had the A high ... But I think my plan after the flop minraise was to get to the showdown pretty cheaply (fearing the A high flush from the minraise), so when it got pushed it didn't seem cheap to me anymore, so I folded. SB showed 84o, BB showed 43s (not diamonds) and they were both drawing dead to my mucked hand. |
