JTs against a push
UTG is 35/7ish
I do not know MP. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) SB ($10.62) Hero ($26.95) UTG ($26.30) MP ($16.50) CO ($32.35) Button ($24.30) Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10. MP posts a blind of $0.25. UTG calls $0.25, MP (poster) checks, 3 folds, Hero checks. Flop: ($0.85) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets $0.68, UTG raises to $1.36, MP calls $1.36, Hero calls $0.68. I've got TP with a flush draw and backdoor straight. Thought about raising, decided to call and re-eval on turn. Turn: ($4.93) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, UTG bets $0.25, MP raises 14.89 (allin) , Hero ??? Original plan was to C/R UTGs bet. The all-in from MP forces a change of plan. Do I instacall this? |

Re: JTs against a push
I'd prob call fully prepared to throw something at the cat. There are worse two pairs that he'll do this with.

Re: JTs against a push
he may have just made his straight or tried to slowplay a set on a drawish board, but i think at 25nl, you're ahead a lot of the time here, and when you aren't, you have full house and flush outs to give you ways to win. i usually call here.
i'm not sure what to do about the fact that UTG is the one betting/raising and is left to act with more money than MP. does that change anyone's answer as opposed to if it was just MP? |

Re: JTs against a push
You have good equity against like all hands but KdQd, so push, as calling will leave you committed against UTG anyway.
