Default \"Secrets of Professional Pot-Limit Omaha\" by Rolf Slotboom

How is this book for advanced PLO play? I'm looking for the best PLO omaha book out there. I tried the search feature, but got few promising results / analysis.

Anyone whose read this book please let me know how it was.

Loved the book but a lot of folks in the Omaha forums don't. Primarily b/c Rolf introduces a short-stack approach that is frustrating to play against.

I see a lot more buying in for the minimum in my games. I don't know if it is b/c of the book or I just notice more now that I've read the book. Assume a combo. of both.

I still like Ciaffone's Omaha Poker as a good primer first, followed by PL and NL Poker by Ciaffone/Reuben, then Rolf's.

What about Championship Omaha by Coutier and McEvoy? I really liked that book, but is Slotboom's book better?

The Championship Omaha book by Cloutier and McEvoy should be titled "The Elementary School Guide to Omaha". Very basic, more concerned with teaching you to play like a nit than making you think about the game at a higher level. It is OK as a first primer, but more or less worthless before long.

Wow, I thought it was a decent book. I guess I was wrong... It just seems like there aren't enough Omaha books and I thought Championship Omaha was really good. Well, I'd better pick up Slotboom's book.

I'm very curious to see if Farha can teach Omaha. Just stumble upon this today.

You would think they would not be using exmaples from Hold 'Em in an Omaha book. Also they contradict themselves in many places.
