I'm really tempted. I'll have a response later this week. My only concern is I'm anticipating a move/job search right in the heart of the season.

The season itself isn't bad, other than the trade deadline (around the all-star break). It's the offseason (June-mid August) and in this case the inaugural draft that takes the most time.

I am trying to engage my friend who is the commish of the other league to get involved with this one as well, especially since I would run it literally identically. Hopefully he'll agree to at least get in and lend his experience as he is a pretty amazing commish, even if I do need to take on some of the grunt work to get him engaged. I think we may be able to pull this off. I'm getting cautiously excited.

Clark...depending on the amount of "grunt work," I may be able to help out, too, if need be. I have commish-ing experience -- I run a three-sport league with my friends. Of course, that limits the time I have to devote to fantasy stuff, particularly since I'm in the middle of applying to law school. But if there's a way to divide up the tasks so that a part of it isn't too much of a burden, I would be willing to lend my services if it helps get this off the ground.

I can also inquire with my friends about interest in this league, if people want to go outside 2+2.

A) There is still time if you are only applying. Save yourself. I couldn't be more serious.

B) I can also ask outside of 2p2. I have a few friends who might be down.

Interested. If the draft is in June/July though, can we try to have it on the day of a stud event?
