would rather have JThh against someone tight that only puts all the money in w/ 2pair+,otherwise AJ

what you will find is that you will be around even money or a decent dog when he has trips or ace nine of hearts or something like that.
we are talking deep stacks here and learning how and when to get it in is pretty important. short stackers is a different thing

right, i was just pointing out that as the opponent's range for felting gets tighter, JThh starts to have more equity when the money goes in compared to AJhh.

I still definitly would rather have A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] more often than J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the long term. Obviously, in the short term, there will be situations where J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] would be superior. But based on my analysis below I would take A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] every time!!

FLOP: K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

HAND 1: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
OUTS:
9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]s (gives you the nuts, FLUSH)
3 As (pairs your A, may give villan a straight if he has J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img])
3 Js (pairs your J, may give villan a straight if he has A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img])
3 10s (gives you the nuts, STRAIGHT)
18 TOTAL OUTS (12 CLEAN OUTS FOR THE NUTS)

HAND 2: J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
OUTS:
9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]s (gives you a flush, may give villan the nuts if he has A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img])
3 Js (pairs your J, may give villan a straight if he has A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img])
3 10s (pairs your 10, may give villan a straight if he has A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img])
3 As (gives you the nuts, STRAIGHT, not the A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img])
3 9s (gives you the nuts, STRAIGHT, not the 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img])
21 TOTAL OUTS (6 CLEAN OUTS FOR THE NUTS)

THEREFORE: J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] gives you more outs to draw to a hand which does not have a 100% shot at holding up while A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] has a much better chance of drawing to a hand that will hold up. And against more and more opponents there is an even better chance that villan(s) will infact have one of those hands that will put him in the lead.
