UTG raises to $4.00, MP folds, Hero calls $4.00, BTN calls $4.00, 2 folds

UTG checks, Hero bets $16.00,Pot Size: $91.50 ($2.80 Rake)

I want flop opinions and turn opinions please. Do you guys like a raise on the flop?

Also, the problem I see with checking behind the turn is that I am not calling any kind of river bluff with 99.

Fix the info on the turn, it doesn't make sense.

I like a 3 bet preflop to isolate the raiser. On the flop I like a raise. Why bet the turn?

The guys flop bet is too weak for my taste.. maybe he wants to get raised or he's looking for an excuse to fold. I'd have to pop it up and probably get out of the way if he wanted to play for stacks right there

i bet the turn to try to scare away a flush draw (i think). I wasnt thinking in those terms at the time.

Raise the flop, that way you find out as cheap as possible where you stand. I make it 16-18. Fold to a 3bet, shut down on the turn unimproved if he calls.

I think raising the flop is really bad. Are you raising:

- For Value?
- As a bluff?
- I have no idea: AKA "to find out where I stand"
