to be honest id probably just fold but it cant be that bad...youre just kinda deep for shoving and i dont like any other option with 88.

It's a lousy place to find yourself in with 8's. Mr Big Stack in the CO is sure to come back over the top of any limp with a reasonable holding and you still have to contend with the blinds if you limp. I don't really like an all in with 8's - I think I fold here.

So you mean that shoving is best, right ?

In game, I'd probably shove, but I'd much prefer to be in the CO.

not exactly, since people are much more likely to get their money in with weaker hands if they think they have fold equity, so the range that pushes against you is wider than the range that calls. i think the 250, call a push is better than the open push, but im not sure i like either all that much.
