Default Mouses that are good if you think you are getting Carpal Tunnel

Recently, I have noticed a pain in my right hand that I use with my mouse. The position in which I hold the mouse normally, seems to stress one of the tendons or something, I can't really play cards for a long period of time without it hurting, I have a Microsoft standard laser mouse (I don't know the brand name, i've had it for years).

Any Advice on Mice?

Anyways, go to like best buy, put your hands on the mice, see which one feels most comfortable. Lots of people like Logitech's designs, but they don't appeal to anyone. Microsoft and Logitech are the big players.

i don't put too much stock into ergonomic mice. good position or bad position, if your hand is in it longer enough, it will begin to be a problem eventually.

for me, the key is switching up. i switch between a marbleman thumb ball and regular mouse throughout the day.

By Brand Name I mean I didn't know the model of the mouse's name, even though microsoft is printed on it.

I have this mouse and like it, but I don't really use it anymore because its kind of bulky for quick motion and precise clicking while multitabling. It might be perfect for OP's problem though.

My current mouse, and personal favorite, is:

Interesting.. does the model of the one you put with a picture put less strain on your hand muscles?

I've heard stretching your wrists and adjusting the level of your chair throughout the day can help w/ carpel tunnel.

anyone know anyother ways to avoid it?
