Default A couple of beats

Start off with a couple of brags: almost 2 months ago, when the grosvenor uk poker tour came to manchester, I had my record profit week of £7.5K, with which I promptly bought a 42" widescreen HDTV, a PS3, and went 'ballin' for a few weeks.

Brag: this is my 12th month as a pro.

Beat: I'm now near bust and had to solicit for stakes to stay in action.

Beat: I can't even win at micro limits

I might as well add the minorest of brags in that I finally (3rd time) passed the UK driving theory test last week.

i never play omahahaha high/low, but im pretty confident that calling a turn raise on a Q543 board with 3 pair and no low draw is awful.

Wazz,

I never got beyond basic PLO, so dont want to comment on the hand.

Poker can be a lonely life at times - we keep crappy hours and often our 'work' brings us in contact with some of the scummiest [censored] that human nature has ever spewed. Plus its a lot easier to talk to people in general about your work if its as an IT Tech than a pro gambler.

Also - i hate quoting Rounders - but sooner or later most of us really do go bust.

Finally - im going back to being staked this coming week - had a 28K score in Party's 300k gtd back in March (of which 70% was mine, and rest to my backer) - i cleared pretty much all my debt and whilst im not broke it just makes no sense playing small stakes on my small roll instead of slightly bigger under my backer.

If you wanna chat more or get more detail, feel free to PM me - i believe my PM box isnt full, but will check in a min anyway.

Im not touching the Spanish hooker bit - figuratively and litterally
