Question about birthday present for 23 year old girlfriend

Hello all,

Long time reader, first time poster. I have a dilemma and I would appreciate some help. We have birthdays that are one week apart and agreed to get small presents (because we are poor law students). She ends up getting me a Wii with 4 games. So much for small gifts.

I need some advice. As an aside, I'm not posting her pic online. I know someone will ask.

How long have you been dating? Jewelry is always an easy fallback- it is reasonably expensive, most women dig it, and it is actually kind of fun to shop for (especially if you buy a diamond and check it out under the microscope.

Or give her a bunch of coupons for oral. Women like that too =P
