Hi Everyone:

We also had a conversation today with a representative of AP. It appears to me that they are moving in the right direction. We'll know more when their statement comes out.

Best wishes,
Mason

How? There system got *compromised*, it was known to everyone it got *compromised* and then they sent a support host here to say it wasn't when they knew it was. After extreme heat and detective work they admit it was *compromised.*

IMO, total scum that they tried to cover it up first. If they would of come clean and said an inside job did it, it wouldnt be as worse. But the fact they first lied when everyone knew they were lieing(sp?), not good. IMO....

What do we know about a player called McShove, 2 big cashes in 8 tournies played, including a win in the 100k.

[/ QUOTE ]
Please don't just start listing off names that were successful in small numbers of tournaments. That happens everywhere. Sure it could be cheating, but you won't really get anywhere doing that.

I think it's INCREDIBLY important to realize that it was the style of play the implicated these players, not their success of lack of success. That's why AP early statements were so dumb (these accounts were big losers, blah blah).

I encourage speculation if you have hand histories ... and hopefully a bunch. Posting a single crazy play won't say anything, but a bunch in a row might carry some significant clues. Everyone looking through their PokerTracker databases for players with high VP$IPs is key right now.

I'm just gonna repeat myself with regard to trying to implicate more people ITT:

hand histories or it didn't happen
hand histories or it didn't happen
hand histories or it didn't happen
hand histories or it didn't happen
hand histories or it didn't happen

(oh and I'll probably wind up banning the next guy to teach a lesson)

Take a look at GGOUOYD25's poker DB.

He's played 7 of the 1000$ tournaments on AP and he's final tabled 4 of them.. won the latest one 3 days ago.

I played him at 15/30 too and he was like the worst player ever yet he made 20k in like 500 hands hitting absolutely everything.

Makes no sense when he was playing 5$ tourneys not too long ago.

[/ QUOTE ]

OK guys, this is what I was afraid it would come to. This is the second time one of the high stakes regulars have been accused of cheating with very weak reasoning behind it. The first time was to me directly in private.

GGUOUYD25 is not a superuser. He shot up the ranks like a huge donk by taking a shot and going on a heater. He didn't play well, sucked out a lot and tilted some good players. He made ~200k in 2 weeks and cashed most of it out. He does play about 40/25, but you can get away with that on abso because of the 200bb buyin. He plays ok postflop (he's a little passive), but too many players pay him off because of his poor preflop play. Recently, he's gotten boned by a lot of people at 25/50 HU, including POKERSKIBUM and others. I haven't seen him for awhile.

If you want to know why I think he's not a superuser, its because I've made 40k+ off of him, most of time he's calling my all in. I've played a lot of HU with him, and if he's donating to me he sure is nice.

Heres a PT screenshot. Note its only a partial shot because my old computer was stolen. Otherwise I'd be able to give you much more conclusive, long term, loss rate against me.

Them? Burn Absolute Poker? Sounds good to me, heard more than enough responses. Are you leveling me? Don't want to burn Mason for his remark just lost complete respect for him is all. I think I'm being leveled.

[/ QUOTE ]

The point is that it is silly to lose respect for someone telling to wait for all the facts to come out before starting a lynch mob.

IMO, AP would of never come clean it and admit what happened if that e-mail wasn't sent out. They denied it but didnt know that the e-mail with proof was out there. Only reason they admitted it was because it was the only thing they could do. They lied about being *compromised*, i would like AP to answer the question, how do we know you wont lie about other things? how can we trust you?

Yeah people really need to chill out with accusing everybody who has had some success on AP. Since we're pretty sure this is one player on numerous accounts, we can assume that every suspicious account that wasn't playing 90/80 and doing things like bet/calling with ten high probably is legit. At the very least looking at a small, inconclsusive sample of tourney results and accusing people of cheating is very lame and premature.

Over 886 hands at 40.52/12.3 up 21,444.22$ over those hands. Probably just a sick sick heater.
