Well, I thought it went without saying that the flop c/r against the BB on a paired board is bad. And also that if you're going to fold the river you can probably fold the turn for the same logic everyone has already stated. I still think you see random crap too much to fold, but I'll take back my fist pump comment.

Since we just call the turn here, it really looks like we have a big hand here that has to value bet the river. And since it looks like you have to value bet the river, I think you have to call

i can see myself playing 8X just the way he played it. solid player isnt calling a flop raise without a hand and doesn't lead the turn with a draw or a 5. u have to see this hand from the villains point. If I was playing myself, I would fold the river.

Always. Why ? Because u have to think the guy has a hand, and since he doesn't have an 8, leading is superrior against dumb people who never think u would lead with quads there.

I didn't want to raise the flop, but I felt I had to with 3 players behind. In hindsight I hate the flop raise.

I think it's a must call based solely on the PF action and he figures you can't call unless you have a Q in your hand on the river.
