Does having had anal sex include giving but not receiving it?

Because the debate seems to be over the pleasure, or lack thereof, of being on the receiving end, not the giving end.

From a strictly physical perspective, the nerve endings in the rectum can't tell the difference. They're responding to non-direction-specific pressure stimulation (even though other parts of the body know what's going on).
