i think a bet is good, as every 7 will at least call you and everything else will fold/not bet anyway. you can bet less than pot though as it s not a scary board where you would need to protect anything.

hand converter: http://www.neildewhurst.com/hand-converter/

I'd lead out with a weakish "scared" c-bet (a lill less than half the pot.. you want your opponent to believe he has fold-equity), praying for a raise.. if called or raised, I would call, and make a "fake lock-bet" when/if the board 2 flush on turn.. maybe you'll get him to push on you... if you are lucky...
If he has missed (probably he has) you'd get no action by playing strong.. villain will just move on... try luring him into the darkness... checking could also be an option here, but it really comes down to your opponent and his style of play I think.. you have a well disguised hand.. let your opponent think he can take this down somehow... or try at least

KK7 you can give a free card with K7 in hand. K77 you cannot give a free card with K7 in hand. The difference should be apparant.

What do you mean by this? Seems like the opposite is true.

Flop KK7, an opponent with a K can have as many as 9 outs to beat K7.

Flop K77, an opponent can have 2 outs with a a pocket pair greater than 7, 3 if they have A7 and we don't have an A, or 5 if they have pocket pair + A7, or they can have KK and have us crushed.

On a flop like K77, pocket pairs 88 through QQ can beat you on the turn. They cannot on a KK7 flop, indeed you want them to catch up.

Right, but an opponent who turns an underfull will give a lot less action than someone who flops trips regardless of kicker.

And an opponent with an overfull on the turn will give you a lot MORE action...

I agree with Piiop, I am much more inclined to give a free card with K7 on K77 (especially AK7). I suppose it depends a bit on whether there has already been a flop bet or not making 7xxx more likely.
