PLO $50 200BB TTP turnshove
~6 hands before the guy had $150 and me $50. Had been raising and reraising like 5 pots in a row, winning every one and took about a stack from him. Next hand:
Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 5 players Hand Converter Tool from DeucesCracked.com UTG: $103.25 CO: $36.35 Button: $50.00 SB: $100.90 BB: $100.60 Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG folds, CO folds, <font color="#FF0000">SB raises to $1.50</font>, Hero calls $1. Flop: ($3.00) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> <font color="#FF0000">SB bets $1.50</font>, <font color="#FF0000">Hero raises to $7.50</font>, SB calls $6. Turn: ($18.00) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> SB checks, <font color="#FF0000">Hero bets $18</font>, <font color="#FF0000">SB raises to $72</font>, <font color="#FF0000">Hero raises to $91.60 (all in)</font>, SB calls $19.60. Final Pot: $201.20 Reraise pre maybe? I'm a little wimpy without suits. Flop seems standard. Should I be worried about anything on the turn? (new to PLO, started 2 days ago so sorry if this is standard or smthn) |

Re: PLO $50 200BB TTP turnshove
Turn is an interesting spot but if villain is indeed super-agro postflop (which is likely from the sound of it), I would commit my here. Wouldn't be too excited about it though, welcome to variance.

Re: PLO $50 200BB TTP turnshove
Mmm I agree, this hand isn't that good with a gap and no suits.
He seems to be telling you he can beat two pair with the check-raise on the turn, which could mean he has a set. Alternatively he could have just have picked up a spade draw to go with a straight draw or overpair. Read dependent really. You've got 10 outs versus a set or 2s or 3s so you probably have to go with it. |

Re: PLO $50 200BB TTP turnshove
Yeah, I'm in the reraise PF camp as well. We're in position with a very above-average hand and the SB could have a wide range here. Also, we're still pretty deep so if we get 4-bet by AAxx, it doesn't bother us at all. Actually helps us by defining our opponent's range better.
Flop and turn are super-standard though. We're way too short to fold top two when our opponent takes a suspicious line in a blind battle. |
