Re: Poker Is Fun - non espn version, the real track
Prahlad,
You are against the Iraq war because inocent people die? If that is so, then you must be against all wars. They should have left Hitler alone, because inocent germans died at WW2, just look at what they made to Dresden. Have you ever heard the saying: "Evil prevails when good fails to act"? Oh and what do you have against capitalism? It's a system that allowed the creation of nice things such as the internet, hip hop music, online poker, etc. Imagine what your life would be if you lived in USSR or China in the 80's , or North Korea today.. All socialist systems fail, France is already reforming itself because the social-democrat [censored] is proven not to work, everyone becomes lazy. Come on you are smart, you play poker so well this should be logical to you. Oh btw why does everyone want Prahlad back? isn't that bad for us, more competition/less money in the poker economy? |

[/ QUOTE ] Communism only appeals to over-privileged nitwits who have never had to suffer actual hardship and have never known want. Show me an "Ethnic Studies" major from U/C Berkeley who is preaching against "capitalism", I can pretty much lay you 50-1 that I can describe the majority of their upbringing. Don't bother trying to explain it to him. Such people have very little use for fact and reason if it runs contrary to their grossly idealistic view of the world. He's definitely a helluva poker player though. I only wish I could be that good at those levels. I'm sure he's a good "anti-capitalist", lives as austerely as possible and gives all of his poker winnings to help the underprivileged ethnics of the world (when he isn't studying them) |

Pra -
I too am into underground hip hop (aesop rock, quasimoto), eat a vegan diet, share lefty politics, and care about poker table etiquette. I think we'd get along fabulously. Lunch on me next time I'm in L.A.? Your fanboy, Enon |
