Re: Winning too much $$$ a curse?? Powerball Winner broke.
[ QUOTE ]
I think we're all overlooking the fact that this man allegedly blew $113M in roughly 4 years? How is this possible? I don't care how financially retarded you are. It's one thing to blew through a few million in a couple of years because you don't understand how to handle money and blew it on hookers and some bad life choices, but $113M is an absurd amount. That's a life-changing, I-never-have-to-work-again-and-neither-do-my-grandchildren amount of money. Something else is going on here. This is impossible to believe. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: Winning too much $$$ a curse?? Powerball Winner broke.
Warren Buffet had a great quote. Paraphrased-
Rich people are obligated to leave their children enough money that they can do anything, but not so much money that they can do nothing. I think that's a really cool point of view on the whole, rich-without-earning-it yourself kinda thing. |

I read that Buffett gave himself only a 100k a year salary, no matter what his net worth was.
