Default Failing to improve?

So I'm getting close to the big 1k posts and it's my birthday tomorrow so I figured it's my time to give something back to the community (also.. I couldn't sleep).

I'll start with a little intro:
The reason why I'm trying to give something to uNL is pretty simple: I just like everyone here. I haven't been around here for long, used to hang out at MTT and STT alot, damn WSOP on youtube brainwashed my mind.
I hope this little thread will be helpfull for some and I also hope my English won't be too bad (it's my 3th language so bare with me!)

Failing to improve?
Don't you hate it? You see all those donkeys, fishes and other idiots on the micro limits and for some reason you can't beat the game yourself?
You are so sure you're better then them, and still you fail to run them over.
You are probably failing to improve your game, you are beeing stubborn and trying to make fancy moves at wrong moments. Start to work on your game and open your mind!

Leaks
You should first try to find your biggest leaks! What can be big leaks in your game? Ask yourself the following questions.
Lets slice it up in a few parts:
Preflop
Preflop raises link
Do you raise way too much with your good hands to protect them? You try to be fancy with your aces? You bet way too low or are you just limping every pot?

Continuation betting link 1 | link 2
Do you know what continuation betting is? How often do you c/bet? On what kind of flops do you c/bet? Against what kind and how many opponents do you c/bet?

3-betting prefloplink
Do you know what 3-betting preflop is? How often do you use it? What kind of hands are you using? What kind of opponents do you 3-bet against?

Postflop
Floating link
Are you trying to float too much because you always think your opponent is bluffing? Are you trying to be too fancy with your floating? Do you know what kind of opponents to float?

Pot control link
You have heard you got to be agressive, but aren't you beeing TOO agressive with your A2 on Ahigh boards?

Valuebetting link
Do you know when to valuebet? Do you know how high to bet?

Extracting money link
Are you always slowplaying your monsters and cry about bad beats? Do you overbet your monsters and hope someone has something?

General stuff
Reads and Notes
How often are you taking notes on your opponents? How often can't you read his hand or at least put him on a range because you aren't paying attention?
Every time a hand went to showdown and something special (reraise a certain amount on a certain street) happened, then you should put a note on this person, with the exact actions, preflop till river. You will win or save alot of big bets with this!

Learning from YOUR mistakes
You made a mistake, now you want to learn something from it.
It's easy, yet only a few people manage to do it!
1) Convert the handhistory with a converter
2) Make a new topic with a good subject description
3) Ask what you want to know, try to be specific!
4) Don't just read what other people said, INTERACT, this can't be stressed enough. If you just read what other people say then you just learn what someone else would do, but not WHY he does it or why you should do it. Try to figure out why sertain people make sertain moves and evaluate it.
5) profit

Learn from OTHERS mistakes
Now this is the cheaper version of 'learn from your mistakes'. You're on a forum, it's here to make topics and reply to others topic. Open up topics that are made by other people, look at their handhistory, read the question and THINK. Don't go reading what others said, think with your own mind, cause that's what you should be doing at the tables!
After you made up your mind, type in your answer to his question. Now you should read what others have said, ask them why they are saying certain things.

I hope this was a helpfull thread for all those people failing to improve their game. If I helped 1 guy out, them I'm happy.
My present, given with [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] to uNL!
