Default 400nl middle set in 3bet pot

Ok this really isn't a "what should I do" post because the play I made I would do every time. But against a good thinking TAG playing against another thinking TAG what worse hands is he shoving with here, maybe TT, but is there anything else? Wouldn't my raise after cold calling a 3bet scare AK and AA? Isn't my hand pretty much only JJ, TT, QQ and maybe AQ, considering how small the 3bet is? After he shoves what range do we give him?

The raiser was a donk in a station way 34/4/1 over a small amount of hands. Villain is 23/18/3.2 over a good sample, and I'm a standard TAG.

Why does it matter? Are you not always raising this flop, and are you not always calling the all-in?

It pretty much never matter what range you give him because the hand plays itself, once you pop the flop, which you're always doing, you've got to call the rest.

His range includes AK/AQ/KK/TT. I'm not sure if he would play AA like this. It's possible he'd repop the donk CO with a hand like KJs or QJs.

i think it is ok to call the flop cbet if you think hes good and knows that CO is opening a tiny range. i think you lose action from too many hands you beat if you raise and its not like youre gonna stack off on a Q/A/9.

What good player 3bet shoves AK here? Doesn't that turn his hand into a bluff, because there is no chance I'm ever calling with worse, unless I somehow have KQ, which I'm never calling a 3bet cold with.

Jfish, I considered just calling the flop, because like I said I think AK and AA fold, and KK, AQ and TT shove.

i would only do that if i thought he was really good and his vbetting range >>>> his calling down range. but at 2/4 thats hardly the case for anybody.

According to your last post, hands that you beat and want in fold when you raise. Hands that own you 3 bet shove. If this is the case, "the play I made I would do every time" from the OP would have to be wrong, no?

After shoving he's got AQ, AA, KK, or TT. I don't think he always folds Aces to your raise. However, after you raise the flop, you can never fold correctly. Let the top and bottom sets cancel each other out. That leaves you against his AQ (you have an easy call if he SHOWS you AQ), and AA / (AK).

that's cool how you got him to shove the flop for you, but calling is fine too
