depending on his injuries, I think Colt Brennan has value there

he'll likely shoot up with an ESPN televised game this Friday

[/ QUOTE ]

I'll give you 15-1 on Colt Brennan if you're interested. We can do it on Matchbook.

I think you should stop mentioning a guy who won't get a single first place vote in the Heisman, and won't win the WR award either.

Can anyone find odds on Matt Ryan BC's QB?

I feel he might have the dark horse. He has everything going for him.
- QB on a top team
- East coast bias
- #3 in yards passing in the nation
- Plays in a major conference
- Senior
- Tied for 8th in TDs.

Not to mention he plays ND next week so he will get a lot of exposure. BC has the tough part of their schedule coming up so if BC can win out and Matt Ryan can look good in those games. He will have the hype needed. He also has a conference title game, so an extra game to accumulate stats and get more national exposure.

I just don't feel McFadden will win it, he is banged up and splitting carries 3 ways and Arkansas also is not as good as last year. So that really opens the door for all kinds of sleepers.

don't overlook that 5 dimes doesn't have a field option here

Anyone think the field is worth that much? I don't see that much value there.

I'd be shocked if any big east player won it--those guys are all just on meh squads and/or having meh seasons.
Right now I'm trying to figure out what OSU player to consider just cause they've got the best chance to go unbeaten.
Ryan's a good darkhorse pick in a definite up for grabs heisman even mike hart's got a shot after that michigan start lol.

Brennan might win it by default (as in the most known public figure on the best winning percentage team) though.

Tim Tebow vs. Matt Ryan at this point.

Does Matt Ryan = Troy Smith? He had 7 passes right on the numbers of VT defenders tonite. Unless he gets to play Notre Dame in his bowl game, this might be a phenomenal fade just like Troy Smith was last year against top 100 pass defenses.

Same is true for Colt Brennan for that matter. He was awful in that game versus SJST. Sure he was gutsy in an OT win with 545 yards and 4 TD but he also tossed 4 INT and made awful decisions all night.

Why are these awards and "poles" decided by people who don't watch a fraction of the games and have little or no understanding of simple ranking theory concepts. Is there not enough money to pay some fulltime experts to do this? Then again if we add sense to the system then teams won't get easy BCS matchups vs Big 10 teams anymore I suppose.
