Solomon Burke is great, but I have problems finding much good stuff on YouTube to share. There is a ton of live stuff, but I prefer his studio work.

I like everything he did, but i like the gritty edge you get from his live tracks (and the songs targeted toward the black audience) versus the smooth Sam that you got on the radio (cupid, chain gang, etc)

Yes, Sam Cooke is definitely the King of Soul.
Love Donny Hathaway too.
