What is the average field size? I imagine stars is a lot larger. If so, that means you need a ton more MTTs before you can reasonably say you are a losing player on stars.

Honestly, I always thought stars was the toughest pre US outlaw, but the prize pools and tourney frequency made up for it. Probably still the same now.

Word. Apart from the "play vs the best for practice" argument, I don't see any particular reason to play on Stars if there are alternatives. Of course, if you're 10-tabling not playing Stars is probably silly, but especially for Euros playing MTTs on Stars apart from the obvious ones ($150 nightly, $50 $50kg, Mill etc) probably isn't the best idea from a ROI perspective.
