Anyone Study Abroad ?
I'm thinking of applying for this program while in college and maybe go to England, France or somewhere in Europe during this upcoming summer just for the experience. Problem is I made about 60k within this year and used up almost 8k on rent, last summer vacation and other spendings. Since I have to file my tax return next year, I doubt I'll have much left in my bank and my school (UCI) might not even offer me financial aid anymore. So that also means I might not be able to get any financial aid for the study abroad programs either. Anyone know what to do in my situation besides paying the full price to study abroad?

Re: Anyone Study Abroad ?
Only thing I can think of is to apply for a scholar ship abroad. The tuition fees used to be really low here in the Netherlands (like 1.5k a year), but they are raising them to around 7k for students from abroad next year.
Why would you want to go to france though , I go there like 2 times a year but I'm glad when I'm back again. |

Re: Anyone Study Abroad ?
Definitely do it. It was actually cheaper for me to do a semester in Spain. This was mainly because my rent was 1/3 of what it was in the US, food was cheaper and tuition was the exact same. Afterwards I blew my savings travelling and it was a great decision.

spent some schooling in england. was quite literally the best time of my life. definitely go. you'll be surprised at costs, generally it's cheaper than the states, unless you were just planning to go community.

Re: Anyone Study Abroad ?
I go to UCI also. From what I heard, tuition is the same, just housing might be different. Take my word of advice with a pinch of salt.
