If the idea is to create yet another forum for people to contemplate their perceived importance in the little world that is poker by using 1000 words to discuss topics that need 15 and are aimed at making the poster feel like they matter, then this is a great idea.

If the idea is to remove racism and other isms from 2+2, I would venture to suggest that you're going about it the wrong way.

If the idea is for the mods to all have a lot of fun and generally exert some power and feel good, well, then that's your prerogative so there's no much point discussing that.

Piece said, I know it won't change anything but fancied saying it anyway.

1) The filters have nothing to do with anything, if someone uses a bad word, we all know what the word is whether it's starred out or not. The thought that this has anything to do with anything is where the whole problem begins.
Have you considered banning people who are obviously racist and not banning those who aren't and not punishing people for using exact words. There are plenty of ways of being racist without saying naughty things, just like there are plenty of ways of not being racist that include racist words.

Also, is it okay to pick on religion or not? If not, will you be visiting SMP soon?
