Default normandie casino

is this place really a dump? completely not worth going to?

seems they have the best buy in structure for low limit no limit in LA

for their 2/5 they have no max, while every other casino is capped at $200, sometimes $300.

There is certainly nothing wrong with it, it just isn't one of the mega rooms.

I thought it was a really nice place when I played there; I just didn't like that the 4/8 game had no small blind.

Not worth the risk of getting stabbed/robbed/killed just for a great structure. I would just go down the street to the Hustler.

Has anyone ever been stabbed/robbed/killed while playing at or in transit to Normandie Casino?

They do. In the past when I've played there I have noticed that their security presence in the valet and parking lot isn't much and I would be leery about carrying lots of cash to the valet, and no way would I carry deep into the parking lot without an armed escort.

The Normandie and Hustler are both in pretty much the same neighborhood, the last of the Gardena clubs. Is one part of Gardena really much worse than another part?

Wow - this place must be in a really sketchy area for you to say that. Any stories to add color to this? Is this place stand-alone or near other stores/areas where shady characters walk around? I plan to do a CA cardroom tour next summer possibly so I'm curious.
