Default global wireless internet

I'm going on a poker world tour and I will be in various different countries for relatively short periods at a time. I'll have my laptop with me and I want to be playing a lot of online poker from whatever beach I happen to be lying on.
Is there any option for me to be able to do this easily, either through some sort of 3G internet or something? Even if I have to get a different provider per continent or something - can anyone offer advise on this please?

yeah, 3g is the answer.

whampoa/hutchison/three is probably the way to go (different names in different regions). i'm confident that you can get data roaming pretty much across the world (excluding the US, which is surprisignly difficult to get roaming data access to)
