absolution pretty much nailed it.

I wouldn't raise up less than A9o from this spot unless it is the nittiest game online. When you have loose players behind you need to tighten up your Axo raises from up front.

Raises 6.25%

Which part pre flop don't you guys like?
The initial raise or the call of the 3 bet once in?

Is my flop check not +ev in the long run? Do I not risk folding say 88, surely here he only has 2 outs twice and I should sucker him to the river every time? Unless I'm against KK I'm an overwhelming favourite. I only raise the flop if a flush/str8 draw is out? Is this wrong?

Stox advocates playing a3o from the c/o seat and then always calling any reraise?

Sorry I thought you were MP. Raising A6o from CO is fine by me. off course you call a reraise.

What he's AF postflop? He is passive pre, is that also the case postflop? Against a passive player I would checkraise this flop, against an agressive I could wait to c/r on turn. Don't be afraid he'll fold weak hand, be afraid you won't extract max value when he has a hand he'll take to SD.

I'm pretty sure the HH has us in MP. I think he was just talking about what stox raises up from the CO.

edit just realized that one of the guys listed in the HH is busto at the table so it is really a 4-handed table.

then the pf raise is fine, the flop should be a c/r, or as played c/r the turn.

after you check the flop you should raise
hopefully you will get lots of action from Kx or a big PP
waiting until the turn may kill your action because it is a stronger line

given that you c/c the flop, you should c/r the turn. if you are going to lead the turn then you are much better off checkraising the flop and leading instead of c/c and leading. that's minimum 1SB that you're missing
