Default Playing garbage in the SB.

Playing with different blind structures is confusing me a bit about which hands become playable in the SB.

I am sure that the starting hands must vairy between the structures ie in a $2/4 game with 1/2 blinds the playable hands must be vastly different to a 3/6 game with 1/3 blinds.

I need to give you guys a little quiz to set me straight:

Any 2 suited. Is this playable with just the button limping and just the bb left to act? What about in the following structures: 12, 36 with 1 and 3 blinds, 5/10 with 2/5 blinds?

What about limping with rag aces and kings in the sb in the above structures?

Can you still play something like 67o in the sb in 36?

If anybody has a small blind limping range for each structure I would be very interested to see!

In fact I'd love to see a table of all of the garbage hands you can play in the sb in each game.

By garbage hands I mean 56o, 67o, 97o, t8o, axo, kxo, and 48s and the like.

Knowledge is power!

im curious about this as well. on stars 15/30 the SB is 10, so does the fact that it is 2/3 the BB mean that if it folded to the blinds the SB should be playing every hand?

I think a good strategy for a 1/3 structure is to just limp hands you would have limped on the button. The lower prize should be offset by your worse position.

It depends on the limpers range and how aggressive the bb plays.

When the limp means a lot of smaller connected or suited cards you can play more Ax,Kx,Qx hands with bad kicker. Because your not so often dominated. When the limper plays Ax,Kx,Qx you should tighten in this section.

In a 1/3 structure i fold even a lot 2suited and most of your "garbagge" hands. You will have the worst position against 2 players and the position negotates the very good preflop odds.

In a 1/2 structure most 2suited should be playable.
