villian seems good/nitty but I could be wrong, I just donkishly stationed off from the BB vs his button with TP, not sure what level he is on and whether that makes him more/less likely to be bluffing here, also do not know how wide his valueraising range is thus the main reason for the post.

depending on "what level" villain is on, OPs bet on the river to induce a bluff raise. I dont think 2pair is value raising the river ever. Hand sorta depends on whether you suspect villain checks behind a medium-str 1pair Ax hand.... and also how lightly he thinks you peel the flop etc.

Like is he more of a RAISERAISERAISE guy or a potcontrol guy? how aggro is he on the river, how much does he goto sd etc etc etc.

This post of mine will not help the lurkers though. It basically says " get sum reads figure it out on your own"

this bet is strictly for value since I planned on folding to a normalish raise, and I did.

no Im saying inducing a bluff raise that you intend to call is necessarily for value. If you dont tihnk hes ever bluff raising you and hes checking behind worse yet sometimes calling with worse, then yes of course, bet-fold looks good

well yeah, I mean you can do that to some people, but I don't think this villian was the type, but I don't play with him much, which was the main reason for the post, because I'm sure some do. when crab said fold, that was good enough for me.
