Re: Party 600 - blind battle, tptk calling dowwwwwn
i like how u played it, i think if he has spades hes checking behind the turn most of the time, im not really sure what to make of the small turn bet but i think calling down is reasonable - calling turn to fold river is prob bad oop so i guess im saying the decision is really on the turn. I think his range is decently polarized in between a 5 and pure air and then an occasional worse/same jack.

Re: Party 600 - blind battle, tptk calling dowwwwwn
You have a bluffcatcher and I don't think he's going to have air here nearly enough to make calling good. I think it's definitely okay to call the turn against this type of player though, as he could be semibluffing or valuebetting worse or just getting out of line (it is bvb).

um..thats not a great river for u'r bluff catcher.
now u have to hope that it is pure air like around 26% or so of the time...pretty shotty. |

Re: Party 600 - blind battle, tptk calling dowwwwwn
this would be a great time for the bb to turn Jx into a bluff... i don't know if this player is aggro enough to do that/is even raising Jx on the flop though.

Re: Party 600 - blind battle, tptk calling dowwwwwn
His betsizing makes me want to fold. The turn is like he wants you sucked in while building the pot, and when the river hits he figures you for TPTK+ aka not going anywhere and bets big. 65,54, A5 are very likely.
