The 5/10 guideline?

Can someone quickly explain, or point me to a post about the 5/10 rule? If I am not mistaken,it's a guideline in cash games to determine whether or not calling a raise with a low pp or sc will be profitable. Am I talking about the right thing?

Yup. If they call < 5% of yr stack, make it; if it is > 10% of yr stack, don't. Use your discretion in between.
