[/ QUOTE ] Its -ev if he doesnt call there if his read tells him he's bluffing. If he calls and is correct then he increases his chances of winning. Obviously he appears to have made the wrong read.

[/ QUOTE ] ok ill rephrase.. if you think he has air you have to make the play. though if you think he has air on the flop you cant really let him try and outdraw you. So personally I'd think the correct play would be to reraise the flop if you think he's missed. Obviously he will either re-raise or call in this situation and that information would determine your next move. The fact that he merely calls the flop kinda makes me think ZJ was trying to extract value from perhaps a pocket pair below 8's. I don't see how else you could justify a call there.
