Default Aces , but it feels like I\'m being tarped.

I know I played this hand really weird(horribly), but I was switching it up a bit to try and get some money out of the villian. But once the river comes, I just want to throw my hand away.
Fold and wait for a better spot?

Villian is 13.8/3.6/2.75

As long as you realize how non-standard checking this flop is, and then not raising this turn, if you want to switch it up a bit to try and get some money out of the villian, then you got what you wanted, now call (or raise) the river. Your plan worked, unless you fold, in which case, why did you have this plan in the first place.

Bet the flop. As played I just call but because you've played the hand in such a passive way I have no idea whats going on. He's pretty aggro and imo this is as often air/TPTK/TPGK as a slowplayed set, 2pair or a straight.

Usually value bets look a bit smaller imo; not all the time though obviously.

I was playing it to get some money out of hom, and I thought it worked. I ended up looking him up on the river.

He had a set of queens.

I realize that I played this hand really weird and admittedly bad, but I was hoping I could get him to bet at it. The way he played it though just seemed a bit off to me. His huge overbet looked like a frustrated monster trying to get paid off.

Believe me, I would normally never play this hand like this. I was just trying this to see what would happen.

...A monster getting paid off or a bluff at percieved weakness.

If you wanted him betting into you than thats what you got.

As far as plying for long-term value goes here though, you have to bet this flop.

We all make mistakes; only way to learn. Don't sweat it.

Thanks
Definitely won't be playing them like this anymore.
Just played another pot with this guy, he seems to overbet the pot a lot.

Ahh! I just played aces aggressive and lost to queens again.. except this time they caught a straight.
