Re: Which Computer to buy(Hp/Dell, AMD/Intel)
Yea, don't see any use for a video card, unless it improves performance. I don't mind how my current(which is the basic video card) set-up is visually.

[/ QUOTE ] Video cards do improve performance A LOT because they don't use your computer's RAM to display graphics like an integrated GPU would.........imo plus you would be able to hook up an external monitor with nice resolution if you ever wanted to |

Re: Which Computer to buy(Hp/Dell, AMD/Intel)
Sorry, not canceling it again.
But I think I will be happy with this setup, I don't know how a $1800 set-up could possibly make me unhappy when I'm running like 4 programs. Mainly I just want all these programs to not lag one bit, but now that I think of it a $800 comp probably would've done this I will actually be datamining Tilt/looking over stars games, and searching for games between 2/4nl-10/20nl. So I will be running 30 tables on both sites and PT/PAHud or HM(whichever I find to be better at release), as well as a couple AHK scripts, and once I start this I also want to be able to still watch videos or w/e else I want when playing. So I guess this might be a good spend. Can I write this off on taxes? |

Re: Which Computer to buy(Hp/Dell, AMD/Intel)
It looks ok.
-I would definitely get a 7200rpm SATA 2 HDD -3gig of RAM is pretty LOL considering you are only playing poker. Other than that it looks fine. |
