Time for another \"general technical tip\" thread
In a tabbed browser like Firefox or IE7:
-Ctrl+Tab cycles forward between tabs. -Ctrl+Shift+Tab cycles backward between tabs. -Ctrl+W closes the active tab. -In IE7, Ctrl+Q cuts to a icon-display of all tabs in a browser. -'Backspace' takes you back a page. -Shift+Backspace takes you forward. That's all I got for now, post more if you got 'em. Even if they are totally obvious and standard to you, someone probably doesn't know them and might find them really useful. |

In Windows OS:
Windows key + E brings up Windows explorer Windows+L locks the machine Windows+M closes all Windows and brings up Desktop Windows+R brings up the Run window, where you can quickly type notepad, winword, or other shortcut names |

how do you scroll through apps in windows without the mouse? You push something and that little bar comes up in the middle?

Clicking a link in Firefox with the scroll wheel brings it up in a new tab.
