Default 5/10 HU hand

saw some random non-reg sitting, so i decide to join. no real strong reads, he hasnt done anything donkworthy yet, but has been very passive preflop. we're probably 40 or 50 hands in, and i dont think he has 3bet me once pf yet, or has he ever raised the bb when ive completed the sb. postflop, it seems like he has normal aggression for hu. i cant be sure tho. ive been very aggro thus far, i think he knows that i will river bet with a wide range. anyway.

i raise J8s from the button to 35. he calls.

FLOP (pot = 70) 845r. he checks. i bet 55. he instacalls.

TURN (pot= 180) A, that puts out a fd. check, check.

RIVER (pot=180) J . check, i bet 150, he jams. its like 700 or 800 to me.

do you call if the J completes the bd fd? what if it doesnt?

i fold if the J completes the BD fd

i'd be way more apt to call if it doesn't. but i'd fold if i thought he was going to hit and run me. is that [censored] up?

i probably fold either way. he can just have way too many hands that beat you here: sets, straight, aces up, maybe flushes, yuck. i think you should bet the turn, too, btw. you're ahead too much and too vulnerable to check unless you KNOW you're getting a bluff out of him on the river every time...

He's usually not bluffing for all his chips in a small pot on the first hand of a match, I don't think

Maybe I'm crazy but I'd call because of the instacall on the flop. I mean, even A8 probably thinks a little about raiseing. If you're beat I'd guess A5.
