Ok thanks, the title threw me. I usually don't associate 'professional' with 'small stakes'.

I think I remember one of the authors making a comment somewhere about the scope of the book being broader than originally intended, hence the change in title - i.e. it is supposed to be applicable to all levels. We shall see.

Mason, I am very much looking forward to these books. Thanks for the update.

Whatever happened to SSNL?

[/ QUOTE ]

SSNL is a forum here at 2+2, the book that your refering to is called Professional No-Limit Hold ’em: Volume I; Learn to Think and Play Like a Professional By Matt Flynn, Sunny Mehta, and Ed Miller

[/ QUOTE ]

Small Stakes No Limit was the original working title of the NL book that is now going to be titled PNL.

Maybe because writing a book, particularly a good one, is a whole lot of long, hard work?

yeah, i agree that should be the case.

my confusion stems from:

a. AFAIK the zee/sucker book was started a long time before the stox/zobags book and it will be released a good deal afterwards
b. sucker's comments leading me to believe it was in its final stages before last summer (too lazy to find the post or whatev but im sure others remember it, too).

i'm not hating or complaining - i'm very excited to buy it - i am just curious what for the delay, yo

Hi bbbushu:

The final text just needed a little more work, and sometimes these things do take a while. But progress is being made and we expect the book towards the end of the summer.

Best wishes,
Mason

Mason,

Can you comment on the differences / similarities between the Stox / Sucker books? If not I understand.

Also, do you have plans to post a review of the Stox book anytime soon? I like seeing your detailed thoughts on the various books you review.
